Why Presbyterians?
As Presbyterians, we join with all other Christians of the Reformed tradition around the world in worship and praise to God who is Triune (Father, Son & Spirit) and who is revealed historically in the person of Jesus Christ. We seek to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, believing that his death and resurrection is the only basis of mankind’s reconciliation with God and with each other across cultures.
When you join the Presbyterians, you join a community of faith and mutual love comprised of individuals and families from all nations dedicated to serving Jesus and each other with the help of the Holy Spirit.
The name Presbyterian is derived from our belief that leadership among God’s people is by a group of spiritually qualified elders (GK. Presbuteros), assisted by community servant-leaders, some of them being formally appointed as deacons.
