Katong Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Singapore. We are located in the community of Joo Chiat off Singapore’s east coast. Our purpose is to grow global disciples of Jesus Christ from all the nations. We warmly welcome people from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds and from all walks of life to join us in our Sunday services and to explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This one true and living God is infinitely perfect both in his love and in his holiness. He is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy to receive all glory and adoration. Read more…

Why Presbyterians?

As Presbyterians, we join all Christians of the Reformed tradition worldwide in worshiping and praising God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit, and we seek to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection is the only basis for our reconciliation with God. Yes, my left knee hurts a bit as I now take my normal seat on the floor. Pain is more marked when I do my walks for 30-45 min. As I grow older, I feel much closer to my dad and mum. As dad weakened, he could not hold onto the door knob to unlock, hence he did not close the door fully. No click. Same as half and full flush and sometimes I berated him. What a fooI I was - why did you just not tell me, daddy? Teck, did you ask? I feel teary. My Mom now at 78 goes up and down the stairs very gingerly as her left knee is bone-on-bone. I run my hand downup? my hair. Thinning; enjoy while it lasts. I am embarking the silver journey ... Suddenly I jolt up from my slumber. Noisy specky kid dancing up and down and round and round seeing fish. Then, this guy lies on the floor, and is looking skywards at the glass of sea and all the fish swimming above him. He is in a world of his own, totally oblivious to all around him. He does not care what people think of him. At all. He is one happy dude. We all leave with diff legacies, but to me, this guy is my legacy. He is to me, me. Younger version. I count myself blessed in the Lord to have him. To walk alongside my Eunice and Mom to bring Benjamin up to be the best that he can be. I prayer nightly for him that he can embrace the grace of our Lord Jesus and become useful person to society. As he jumps and jumps in absolutely joy, silly specky guy, daddy and boy boy are one. I love you son. And I love you too, Pa. I am very happy. Quietly. Amen. ... See MoreSee Less
